Osusu | Music week

Freetown Futures in collaboration with Aurora Foundation and the British Council organised the Music Week in 2018. A three-phase project that brought together a total of 17 artists from Sierra Leone, Iceland, and the UK to produce, collaborate and perform music.

The first phase had artists from Iceland and the UK spend time in Sierra Leone writing and recording music in November 2018. The second phase invited those same artists to perform live at the Freetown Music Festival 2019. The project finished with a inspiring music trip to the UK for Sierra Leonean musicians a year later.
