Supporting emerging and established artists, we develop opportunities in the performing arts by organising a large-scale festivla of culture in March and other local initiatives throughout the year.
We believe in the power of the arts, and the importance to invest in the craft of live performance and the creative community of Freetown. It is important to us that the festival is accessible to everyone, which is why we charge the equivalent of £1 for a ticket.
Our Goals:
to create a positive image of Sierra Leone whilst celebrating and promoting Sierra Leonean music and culture
to create a platform where local artists meet, collaborate and develop their skills
to enable artists to develop their experience and skill of performing live
to train creative youth in core production and organisational skills
